Brewing with a French Press

Brewing with a French Press

Brewing with a French press is often the easiest way to brew coffee, and French presses come in all sizes.

Start by grabbing your large French press to brew 4-6 cups.

Grind your beautiful beans to a medium coarse grind. (Or, when ordering your next bag, select 'French Press' on the Grind's drop down options.)

Next, dial in the right amount of coffee to water.

Tare the coffee pot on a scale and weigh the amount of water you’ll be brewing. Next, divide by 15 to determine the amount of coffee you’ll need.

Then, boil your water, wait 30 seconds, pour your water over the grounds, and give your brewing grounds a gentle stir.

Then, loosely place the plunger on top of the mixture, touching just the top of the brew.

Allow your grounds to brew for 4 minutes before slowly pushing the plunger all the way down.

Finally, don't let the coffee sit for too long. Pour and enjoy a beautiful cup... or six.
