This is our first year sourcing and roasting this amazing coffee from Reynaldo Caballero out of Honduras. As soon as we got into specialty coffee, a cup of Honduras is what opened our eyes. It was simply our first great coffee we had tasted so once we started roasting it was a huge goal to find Honduran coffees we loved like that first great experience in specialty coffee. We think this coffee fits this goal. We were introduced to Benjamin Paz by a friend and could not have been happier to have the opportunity for him to help us find a great coffee for our menu. Benjamin Paz is a coffee producer, roaster, and exporter in Santa Barbara, Honduras. He is also a liaison for the greater Santa Barbara region through his mill and exporting company San Vicente. Benjamin manages hundreds of relationships with farmers in Santa Barbara, connecting each with a roasting partner who can grow with each coffee producer they’re partnered with. Benjamin is a great asset for the producers in Honduras and he does it all with a smile on his face and a deep love for coffee and the people that grow it. We are so happy Benjamin connected us with Reynaldo Caballero so we can serve his coffee.
